Dry eyes is probably one of the last side effects one would associate with menopause, but a new article in JAMA has shown that HRT can trigger the aggravating condition known as dry eye syndrome.
Bioidentical hormones seem to be no safer than traditional hormone replacement therapy. According to an article published in the Medical Journal of Australia, biodientical hormones have been linked with an increased risk for endometrial cancer.
